Dr. Ashley Parsons graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Business Administration in 2009. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. While performing clinical rotations, she received ocular disease training at Mercy Medical Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the Richmond Optometric Society.
Dr. Parsons joined Grove Eye Care in 2014 and is available to see new patients at both the Carytown and Midlothian locations. Her areas of interest include geriatric eye care and ocular disease, specifically the treatment and management of glaucoma.
Dr. Parsons resides in the West End with her husband, David. Originally from a small town in West Virginia, she returns to the mountains as often as possible to enjoy the outdoors and cheer on Mountaineer sports.
