Dr. Cheryl Thimothi grew up in Midlothian, Virginia, and has always had a passion for helping others see their best. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University before earning her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Her clinical training included caring for veterans at the Durham VA Hospital, working with patients at Virginia Eye Consultants, and completing a rotation in specialty contact lenses. These experiences gave her a strong foundation in comprehensive eye exams and ocular disease management.
Dr. Thimothi specializes in providing patient-centered care that combines empathy with clinical excellence.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can usually find her exploring new places, relaxing with a good book, or spending time with her four-legged companion.
