Dr. Mark MacMillan, originally from the Midlothian area, graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2007. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Optometry from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas in 2013. Following he completed his residency in cornea and contact lens at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
Dr. MacMillan is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Virginia Optometric Association. His areas of fitting of specialty contact lenses, keratoconus, dry eye disease, and the treatment of glaucoma among many other eye conditions.
