Dr. Mark MacMillan, originally from the Midlothian area, graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2007. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Optometry from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas in 2013. Following he completed his residency in cornea and contact lens at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
Dr. MacMillan is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and Richmond Optometric Society. His areas of interest include myopia management, fitting of specialty contact lenses, keratoconus, and the treatment of glaucoma among many other eye conditions.
Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife Kristen and two daughters, Charlotte and Abby. He also enjoys playing golf, watching soccer, and travelling when the time allows.
